KENNEWICK, WA - Kennewick police are investigating a stabbing that sent a teenager to the hospital Friday morning.
Just before 9AM, officers were called out to an assault with a weapon in the area of 4th Avenue and Olympia Street.
When police got the area, they found a 16-year-old boy that had been stabbed in the stomach. The boy was inside the bathroom of the Grocery Outlet.
While investigating at the scene, police found out the 16-year-old had been involved in a fight near 4th and Olympia.
The boy was taken to a local hospital for surgery.
No suspects have been identified in this case, but the Detective Division of the Kennewick Police Department is currently investigating.
